I recently came across an interesting relationship quote that I think will interest you too.

It comes from Meryl Streep, who received an award at the annual Cannes Film Festival last month. In an interview at the event, the actress talked about her 1986 film Out of Africa.

She said this about her co-star in the movie, Robert Redford:

“He has an unusual quality for a man — he has a very receptive way about him and is an incredibly good listener. That’s an attribute people usually associate with women. So for women, he’s very easy to talk to.”

What an interesting quality to appreciate in a man.

“He’s an incredibly good listener.”

People notice good listeners. It’s something we can all become. If we want to.
